Personal Note-What Does it Mean to the Receiver?

Whenever you have received a gift from someone, and they also add a personal note or note card with it, how does it make you feel? Well, whenever that happens to me, it means SO MUCH MORE that they thought enough to write something along with the gift.  I have even gone so far as to say that sometimes what they wrote on the card meant so much more than what gift they gave me.

There are many reasons for the card message, such as writing to someone to let them know your thoughts are with them, or congratulating them, graduation, new baby, Christmas gift, Mother’s Day, Weddings, Birthdays, Family, Co-worker…the list can go on and on…The unifying theme is that people care to hear/read words about them and why they are in your life.  How they are significant in your life matters tremendously. It not only makes them feel special, but also gives them another identity or value. To hear that you can make a positive impression in someone’s life is essential as well as uplifting. And it does not have to be an incredibly long message where you feel like you are back in high school, writing an essay for English class.  If you are not the type who feels you are not eloquent with words, make the message short and simple and to the point.  The focus is to show that person that they mean a lot to you.  Easy as that! Lizush’s Special Personal Notes
